I work in glass for its connection to our prehistory as well as for the range of colours it affords. I most frequently use opaque glass for colour saturation, often mixing my own colours from glass powders or sintering the powders into elements of a design. All my work is kiln-formed using heat and gravity to develop the final form. My background in archaeology and my love of nature inform my art.
